Dr. Jeffrey Wallen Announces $25,000 Matching Gift Challenge Honoring OMS Military Personnel.

The OMS Foundation is proud to announce a special matching gift opportunity made possible through the generosity of Dr. Jeffrey Wallen.  In honor of the men and women of oral and maxillofacial surgery community who have served our country in the military, Dr. Wallen has pledged to match all donations to the OMS Foundation dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000.

The matching gift challenge will run from July 1 through the AAOMS Annual Meeting, giving donors the opportunity to double the impact of their support while celebrating the remarkable contributions of OMS military personnel.

Dr. Wallen announced the challenge during his presentation with Dr. Dan Daley at the recent Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Annual Meeting.  During his presentation, Dr. Wallen shared the history of the OMS Foundation, its accomplishments and the opportunities that lie ahead for the specialty through philanthropic support.

Inspired by Dr. Daley’s extraordinary commitment to the Foundation, Dr. Wallen’s matching gift challenge represents another powerful investment in the future of oral and maxillofacial surgery.  Together, their leadership and generosity demonstrate the profound impact that individual donors can have on advancing the specialty.

As our nation commemorates 250 Years of Freedom, the OMS Foundation invites you to participate by making a gift of $250 in honor of 250 years of American independence.  Through Dr. Wallen’s gift challenge, every dollar contribution will be doubled, turning a $250 donation into a $500 investment in the future of OMS.

This is an opportunity to honor the service and sacrifice of OMS military personal while helping to build a stronger future for the specialty.
