Corporate Support Opportunities

The Foundation invites the OMS community's corporate citizens to help advance the specialty through the support of innovative research, high-quality education opportunities and a strong academic sector.

OMS Foundation Annual Fund

A gift to the Annual Fund supports the mission and programs of the Foundation including:

Research Support Grants further the development of scientific investigators committed to problems related to oral and maxillofacial surgery. Each grant is $75,000 and is awarded to the institution.

Other Giving Opportunities

Global Initiative for Volunteerism and Education (GIVE)

GIVE offers travel stipends of up to $2,500 to OMS residents traveling internationally to serve with humanitarian healthcare teams. Contributions to GIVE are restricted for use by that program.

Gift-Match Challenges

Gift-match challenges generate excitement and urgency for the Foundation’s limited-duration fundraising appeals, and often generate donations that substantially exceed the challenge’s stated goal. Corporate challenge opportunities range from $25,000 to $100,000, and gift-match supporters enjoy recognition in print and digital media for the duration of their challenge (30 to 90 days).

The OMS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law

OMS Foundation Alliance

Corporate supporters help defray a vibrant organization of volunteer fundraisers, philanthropists and ambassadors for the Foundation composed of friends and family of AAOMS members. Since 2018, the Alliance has focused its fundraising efforts on the Global Initiative for Volunteerism and Education (GIVE).

The Alliance corporate supporters help defray the production costs of the Alliance's well-attended fundraising and networking events at the AAOMS Annual Meeting, including:

  • Annual Luncheon and Fundraiser
  • Daily Health Walks
  • Networking Breakfasts

Corporate support of the Alliance is recognized in event promotional materials, in the Alliance Newsletter and on the Alliance pages linked above.
