2025 Alliance Committee
Welcome to the OMS Foundation Alliance
The OMS Foundation Alliance is the primary fundraising and outreach partner of the Foundation, offering opportunities for families, allied staff and friends of the OMS community to meet, network and support the Foundation and one another.
Fundraising
The Alliance focuses its fundraising efforts on two programs:
- Global Initiative for Volunteerism and Education (GIVE) – offers $2,500 travel stipends to residents travelling internationally with OMS teams to deliver humanitarian healthcare to communities in need.
- Norma L. Kelly Resident Spouse Scholarship – with support from OMSNIC, offers $1,000 in travel expense reimbursement to spouses of residents attending AAOMS’s Annual Meeting.

Networking Events
Since 1994 the Alliance has applied its signature flair to social events at the AAOMS Annual Meetings, forging lasting memories and friendships in support of the OMS Foundation.
- Our popular Health Walk is expanding! The three-day event will now feature three unique walking routes, each with unique daily sightseeing stops.
- Our 2025 Luncheon and FUNraiser for GIVE provided an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, welcome new friends and enjoy Washington D.C.’s dynamic energy. As always, proceeds supported the Global Initiative for Volunteerism and Education (GIVE)
The OMS Foundation thanks OMSNIC for its generous support of the Alliance.
