The Robert V. Walker Society

The Robert V. Walker Society was founded in 1997 and named after one of our specialty’s great leaders, Dr. Robert V. Walker. It was established to recognize individuals making planned and estate gifts of $25,000 or more to the OMS Foundation. Making an estate gift is the process of integrating  your personal, financial, and estate planning goals with your goals of charitable giving. Dr. Walker’s legacy will continue with the Robert V. Walker Society.

There are many avenues for planned gifts, including bequests, life insurance, and trusts. Planned gifts leave a legacy of leadership for research and for training succeeding generations of oral and maxillofacial surgeons. For more information on planned gifts, please visit our planned giving page.

For more information on making a commitment, download a Commitment Form.   For direction on language needed to make a bequest, please read our Popular Ways to leave a legacy document.

Consult your attorney or financial adviser before making a planned gift commitment.
