The Robert V. Walker Society

The OMS Foundation’s R. V. Walker Society was established in 1997 to honor Dr. Walker’s myriad contributions to AAOMS, the OMS Foundation and the OMS specialty during his lifetime. As a teacher, a mentor and a friend Dr. Walker’s commitment to education was unwavering. His namesake Society was created to secure the future of the OMS Foundation and its mission, and to support research and education.

Membership in the R. V. Walker Society is granted to donors who verify their intention to make a planned gift of $25,000 or more to the OMS Foundation. Learn more about Planned Giving options and find sample language appropriate to a bequest in our Planned Giving Primer document. Learn more about joining the R.V.
